Welcome to Harts Bluff Middle School! It is truly an honor to serve as the principal of HBMS and to be part of such an incredible school community. Every day, I have the privilege of working alongside outstanding students, dedicated educators, supportive families, and a community that genuinely believes in the success of every child. As an educator, I believe that middle school is one of the most important chapters in a student's life. These are the years when students discover their strengths, develop confidence, build character, and begin shaping the path toward their future. My goal is to ensure that every student who walks through our doors feels valued, challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their fullest potential. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas, and later received my Master of Education in Administration from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. Throughout my career, I have served in several educational leadership roles, including teacher, instructional leader, Assistant Principal, Career and Technical Education Director, Secondary MTSS Coordinator, and campus principal. Each experience has strengthened my belief that meaningful relationships, high expectations, and intentional leadership create schools where students and teachers thrive. At Harts Bluff Middle School, our mission is simple: Engage our students so they are empowered by opportunity and prepared to live out their fullest potential. Our vision—Engage! Empower! Prepare!—guides everything we do. Whether we are celebrating academic growth, developing leadership skills through our G.R.O.W.L. expectations, supporting students through meaningful relationships, or preparing them for high school and beyond, we are committed to helping every Bulldog learn, lead, and succeed. I firmly believe that education is a partnership between school and home. Together, we can create an environment where students are encouraged to dream big, work hard, and become compassionate, responsible citizens. Thank you for entrusting us with your children.
